Hyannis Shocks St. Edwards

The Saint Edward Beavers fell victim to this year’s Big Blue Wrecking Crew on Friday Sept 5. With a total of 67 tackles, the longhorns completely shutout the beavers 42-0. Gabe Haney lead the ‘horns in total yards with 148 total yards. Payden Ayer and Jeremy Davis both lead the team on defense with 15 tackles each. Coach Braun stated, “ I thought our team played very well for being the first game. Hyannis Wins Triangular

The Lady Longhorns opened up their volleyball season with a triangular against Hay Springs and McPherson County. Hyannis beat both teams in two sets to complete each match. Coach Ayer said, “ We did a great job setting up our offensive game to get a total of 38 kills for the night.” The scores of the Hyannis / Hay Springs match were 25-14, 25-21. Hyannis Area Schools Music Dept.   Hyannis Band & Choir Perform at District Music Contest               On April 23, 2014 Hyannis Band and Choir students traveled to Alliance High School for the District Music Contest.
